Update

What better way to update than with bullets?! It's perfect for my jumbled up brain. :)

• We are about to hit the 19th month in the “official” adoption waiting time. It’s hard to swallow because we are still longing to be parents to a little miracle. We find comfort in knowing that the perfect child God has for us has not become available. 
• Tonight at our support group meeting, we found out that there is another lull of birthmothers choosing to go to Bethany. Gloria told us that there have been lulls in the past, but this one seems to be a bit deeper. We didn’t like the sound of that, but it doesn’t mean that we won’t be matched during this lull.
• Two people shared tonight who spoke at our orientation class we took at Bethany over 2 years ago! It was neat to hear their stories again. They were both birthmothers, and they really helped open my eyes up to how truly spectacular birthmothers are.
• We are trying to think of more ways to network ourselves. God has definitely led us to Bethany, but we also know He can work through a lawyer or some other avenue. If you have any advice or tips for us, we would absolutely love to hear them!
• Charlie and I recently updated our profile to be more open. We were uneasy in the beginning, but we have complete peace about the changes that were made.
• Please continue to pray for Little Leoanrd’s birthparents, that we will be matched soon, and most importantly that the love of God will be spread.
